Lynne has been a local in the region for 20 years and will endeavour to ensure you see all that the Macedon Ranges has to offer. Lynne is the founder of Galahad's Sanctuary (https://www.galahads-sanctuary.com/) and has a genuine love and respect for all animals. Galahad’s Sanctuary was started 6 years ago. All profits from your stay will go to the animals feed, vet or enrichment bills. Her generosity of spirit and selfless dedication to her animals is heartwarming to witness. Lynne was inspired by her beloved Irish Wolfhound, Galahad. She learnt first-hand the difference animals make in the lives of people when doing pet therapy at the Royal Children’s Hospital and seeing the impact her beloved Galahad had on the children and nurses he visited. His pure love and that of many animals since, have inspired her quest to seek a harmonious and sustainable way to tread lightly on our planet and ecosystem using a plant based diet.

We are an active and busy work-from-home, homeschooling, plant-based family of four. Lani is a stay-at-home mom and Dean is a children's book author. We live an eco-friendly lifestyle and enjoy time with our family, yoga, exercise, and home-cooked meals. We have both traveled extensively and know the value of a comfortable bed and somewhere safe to sleep!

We have the privilege of living on a precious piece of Earth close to the Derbyl Yerrigan (Swan River) and Boorloo (Perth) CBD. We have lived in our colourful eclectic home for over 40 years and now have an enchanted wild backyard which we share with our son and his family who live in the duplex next door. We love living in a 3 generation household where we are all committed to living with a deep respect for the Earth. We are all (mostly) vegan 🌿 At the moment we are building an extension to our home as our son’s family is growing! We are a married couple with a cat, sharing our friendly vegetarian home in the beach suburb of Maroubra, in Sydney. We travel as often as we can, both in Australia and overseas, and we love to get out and about in nature - even if it's just a weekend away in our trusty camper van. We are open, honest people and we like to think of our home as an environment where people can connect and share rather than just as a space to eat and sleep. I am an artist and academic who is an adjunct senior lecturer at the School of Creative Arts & Media, University of Tasmania. Having felt like I was running an informal B&B for many years for friends and family,I decided she may as well offer my home and hospitality to other travellers. I have been hosting on AirBnB for a couple of years with a caveat that all guests must be veg*n at home, but when I heard about VegVisits I was really excited!
