I am unable to make any exceptions. Please show these on check in and please wear a mask. *The key to a successful stay in someone else’s place is to leave things as you find them! I don't expect you to do any cleaning, but tidy is always nice, with things put back where you found them. * Our plumbing is very sensitive! Absolutely no pads, tampons, condoms or wipes. Blockages are evident within a few hours so if you don't want an overflowing toilet and a plumber's bill, approximately $350), toilet paper only please! There are disposal bags in the cupboard under the sink - drop in red bin outside please. * Please respect the sustainability aspects of this home. We are solar powered so please turn off all lights as you leave each room, don't leave all the lights in the apartment on at once. *Air conditioning is in the lounge room only. A fan is provided for the bedroom. Airconditioning works best with all the doors closed and must not be left on when you are not in the room. The air conditioning is reverse cycle and can be used for heating. Bedroom heating is controlled wirelessly as are some of the lights. Please do not turn the heater on or off, text me a I will adjust remotely. * ALWAYS lock the front door. On checkout, please UNLOCK the connecting door between the apartment and the main house (because you will have the only key to this door). I'll let you know where to leave the front door key. * No candles, no smoking anywhere. I would prefer not to have smokers stay here at all. * No food or drink in the bedroom please. * Please rinse all cups and plates and leave on the Chinese trunk to go in the dishwasher. Please put your rubbish in the red bin outside. * $50 cleaning fee for the use of the barbecue. Bbq is only available in summer months and not during fire bans. PLEASE ALSO READ THIS ESSENTIAL INFORMATION: This is a hosted property, but in name only. I'll meet you with the key and show you where to find things. After check in, it is yours and you don't have to meet anyone else. I live at the back of the house but you have the whole front half - a private, lockable section. It's quiet here but you may occasionally hear a small amount of noise from the kitchen. Or you may hear the dogs, Hattie and Oi, occasionally. The bed is a DOUBLE bed, not queen or king sized. No full kitchen. There’s no cooker or kitchen sink and limited food preparation space. My place is best for short stays for this reason. But it does Include a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge (no freezer). Shower works by turning the hot tap on full first. Wait till the water warms up (about one minute) then add cold. To close the bathroom blind, pull sharply to the left. There is room to hang your clothes in the RHS of the wardrobe. There’s a blockout blind behind the bed. The house faces east so pull this down if you want a lie in. Now, anyone can say they've read the house rules, but I will know you really have if you text or email me: “Who put the Oi in very annoying dog!"
