Crystal Brook Sanctuary is a peaceful vegan rainforest and tropical food-forest retreat in the Daintree. Stay in your own private caravan surrounded by lush tropical gardens, crystal-clear creeks, waterfalls and abundant wildlife. Explore the food forest, enjoy guided waterfall walks or simply relax to the sounds of nature. Your caravan has a comfortable queen bed and kitchenette, with a shared hot shower and toilet nearby. Fresh tropical fruit platters and wholesome plant-based meals are available on request.

The space

Your accommodation is a private, creatively styled caravan nestled within the lush tropical gardens and food forest of Crystal Brook Sanctuary in the Daintree. The caravan offers a comfortable queen-size bed, a smaller child-size bed and a kitchenette for preparing simple meals. It's a cosy, peaceful space where you can unwind, enjoy the sounds of the rainforest and reconnect with nature. A shared bathroom with a hot shower, flushing toilet and handwashing facilities is located a short walk from the caravan, approximately 30 metres away. Guests are welcome to explore the sanctuary's beautiful tropical gardens, established fruit forest and walking areas, with opportunities to discover an extraordinary variety of tropical fruit trees, native plants and wildlife. The property features crystal-clear creeks and a waterfall which can be experienced on guided walks. Crystal Brook Sanctuary is a peaceful, plant-based, smoke-free, alcohol-free and drug-free environment. There is no Wi-Fi, making it an ideal place to disconnect from technology and immerse yourself in nature. Fresh tropical fruit platters, wholesome raw and cooked plant-based meals, smoothies and cold press juices are available on request and guided nature experiences are available by arrangement.

The kitchen

The caravan has a compact kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink and benchtop space for preparing simple meals and snacks. Guests can store fresh fruit, drinks and other food in the refrigerator and use the available counter space for basic food preparation. The kitchenette is designed for light meal preparation rather than extensive cooking. Crystal Brook Sanctuary is a strictly plant-based property. We kindly ask guests to bring and prepare only vegan food, with no meat, fish or other animal products consumed on the property. Fresh tropical fruit platters and wholesome plant-based meals, featuring seasonal produce from our food forest whenever available, can be arranged on request.

Crystal Brook Sanctuary is a peaceful, nature-focused retreat where the sounds of birds, frogs, insects and flowing water replace the noise of everyday life. **Parking:** Free on-site parking is available near the caravan. **Bathroom:** A shared hot shower, flushing toilet and handwashing facilities are located approximately 30 metres from the caravan. **Internet and phone reception:** There is no mobile reception but guests can use Wi-Fi at a location about 50m from their caravan. This is an opportunity to disconnect from technology and immerse yourself in nature. **Food and lifestyle:** We are a strictly plant-based sanctuary. Guests are asked to respect our vegan, smoke-free, alcohol-free and drug-free environment. We also encourage the use of natural, low-chemical personal care products to help protect our sensitive rainforest ecosystem. **Natural surroundings:** As this is a tropical rainforest property, guests can expect insects, geckos, frogs and other wildlife. Rainfall can be heavy at times, and paths and outdoor areas may become wet or slippery. **Peace and quiet:** The sanctuary is generally very peaceful, although tropical wildlife can be surprisingly vocal, particularly at night! **Transport:** A private vehicle is strongly recommended, as public transport is limited. We welcome guests who appreciate nature, simple living and a peaceful, respectful environment.
