Getting around the area
We are situated on a quiet street in Kelvin Grove, which is a lovely, leafy and safe inner city suburb of Brisbane. It is very easy to access public transport or walk to all destinations in Brisbane City. If you wish to travel to the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast the freeway is close by to get you on your way. Brisbane is a great place to visit because it's just small enough to figure your way around very quickly. There are plenty of attractions to keep you entertained and I provide a booklet of suggestions! We are a 6 min drive, 15 min by bus, or 30 min walk to Fortitude Valley (great for night-life). Also close to city, 10 minute drive, 15 minutes by bus, or 45 minute walk.

A closer look at the stay
About
Creative 60's style meets, modern convenience. My plant-based home, shared with my partner, Chris, is in a quiet location, approximately 15 minutes from the airport & close to the City, Fortitude Valley, QUT, supermarkets, cafes & weekend markets. Enjoy the private courtyard with outdoor dining/seating & garden & the open plan living area. The pool is great for hot summer days. Free off-road parking & public transport at the door step. Enjoy the lovely tree-lined path & local wildlife along the creek. Play some board games. Have a blissful sleep on a quality mattress. Fully equipped and cosy, I like to keep my home tidy and clean using only environmentally friendly products.
The space
The living area is open plan and opens onto a private deck and courtyard with outdoor dining/seating. The apartment complex has a pool that is great for hot summer days. The guest bedroom includes a very comfortable queen size bed, bedside table, desk, bookcase and wardrobe. Guests can access private courtyard, kitchen, dining room, living area, bathroom, laundry and pool. Lay on the couch and surf the net through the free wifi, chill in the backyard or go hang out by the pool. If I am unavailable to greet you then you can check yourself in through the coded door lock.
The kitchen
My kitchen is fully vegan, and comes fully-equipped with fridge/freezer, stovetop, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, alongside other appliances such as blender, food processor and espresso machine. Guests will have their own seperate pantry, and are welcome to use various spices provided.
Other things to note
No companion animals live on the property, though we have a few possums that sometimes like to visit at night time and the local birdlife love to take a dip in the birdbath in the courtyard. The property is generally pretty quiet and peaceful. Visitor parking is sometimes full, but there are always parking spots to be found close-by on the street.
