One of them was the loft I found near Paris that totally inspired myself so I decided to host people with the same vibes, being for art residencies, meditation, therapy, coaching, holidays, resourcing... Hi I'm Zoë, a Londonian who fell in love with this wilderness here in Aude, SW France over 30 years ago. I have been living at this old water mill since 1999 of which part of it has been dated 1650s. I am delighted to say that since summer 2021 my daughter Maya has moved back . As a visual artist/herbalist she is turning the land here into wonderful medicinal gardens with many herbs, flowers (especially ancient roses) and vegetables.We have already begun distilling roses and nettles. We have many common interests especially our love of Nature and doing our best to maintain, care and cultivate this precious oasis with as much respect and sustainability as possible. Also we both agree that laughter is one of the best medicine. So even if we work hard we love to meet new people and share our universe! As an artist this quiet beauty that surrounds is wonderful inspiration. My creative work are my direct connection to Nature, often using natural pigments, ochres, indigo and recently making installations from Iris leaf fibres. I have been studying Buddhist philosophy and practises for over 20 years and sometimes go on meditation retreats. This is a perfect spot. People often say it is magic here and return again and again as one of their special places. Wow that is so special to know!!! It would be wonderful to welcome you to our home at the Moulin de la Conque.

I can host you with pleasure at our place. We used to host some people through Airbnb but we love this concept. My kitchen is exempt from stuff issue from animals and I will be pleased to welcome you with only vegan products.

We’re Natasja and Florent, and we’ve chosen to make our home in this little corner of paradise, surrounded by nature, in a beautiful and peaceful region. We live here with our dog, cat, and a gentle mare, who you’ll be able to see from the gypsy wagon. We are both musicians, and Natasja also loves cooking. Our daily life is all about creating harmony and beauty with the world around us, while respecting nature. We warmly invite our guests to share in this philosophy and enjoy a stay filled with calm, beauty, and respect for the environment.

L'Autre Ferme is a farm animal sanctuary. We are located in the Charente Limousine, a beautiful hilly region in rural France. We are fully vegan, with 3 rooms available some week-ends only. Vegan homemade breakfast is included. A simple and tasty diner, local and organic is proposed in the evening upon request. All the revenus from the rooms participate to fund the sanctuary.

Vegan artist, musician and writer with a spare tiny house (complete with kitchen, loo, shower and a low ceiling bedroom upstairs) to rent in a highly touristic area in France. Dordogne is at the same time an Ancient Roman ruins spot, the home of the world famous Lascaux cave (less than one hour drive from us) and many more prehistoric sites including the Cro-Magnon cave. I am 15mn away from the city of Périgueux by car and 10mn walk away from a train station to the city.
