I have been vegetarian all my life and since around 7 years ago I try to be vegan as well, which is working out quite well! Discount available for HappyCow Ambassadors :) Full-on sustainability advocate. I studied Environment and Resource Management, now working full time on the Electric Vehicle revolution. My 2018 renovated apartment has it all: low-temperature floor heating, PV panels, 4 types or recycling, ceramic cooking plate, quality second hand furniture, lots of plants, foldable bicycle for rent, and of course full access to the well equipped vegan kitchen :)

Henk was a great host who knew the best spots and his favourite vegan places were all really amazing. The pick up from central station was super convenient. Will come back to stay again when I'm in Amsterdam again! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
December 2018Really awesome place to stay with friendly vibes and a great location. Henk and his girlfriend were very helpful and told me about all the best vegan places in Amsterdam! They are also really fun and we even went to drink some beers together at some local microbreweries. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a great stay in Amsterdam. Close to all amenities and a tram stop just a few short steps away. Will definitely stay here again next time and recommend it to my friends.
