About this space
Nestled next to Westerpark which has an energetic and creative vibe that’s provided by the sprawling Westergasfabriek cultural complex. Westerpark is a welcome break at the end of Haarlemmerdijk, where the effervescence of the city centre meets the more residential Western District. This Eco-Oasis is in a Grade A Eco building, complete with floor heating. The main bedroom features a queen-sized bed. There is a living room which has a nice lounge area which overlooks some trees, on top of main area where there is a comfortable sofa. There is Chromecast, which you can use to stream Netflix or any other online shows you want on the beamer we have. There is wifi and a washing machine/dryer combo (subject to the fair use policy). NOTE: 1. IF YOU'RE BOOKING FOR 2 PERONS THERE IS A EUR 10 EXTRA CHARGE PER NIGHT and 2. ALL BOOKINGS COME WITH AND EXTRA EUR 20 CLEANING FEE.

The bedroom is cosy and will make you feel right at home.

The kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a brand-new fridge, dishwasher, oven-microwave, induction cooking plate, water boiler and soda stream machine ; all the necessary essentials. The house is a vegan house, save for the rare and occasional honey.
Other things to note
Please note that is it a one-bedroom apartment so when you rent out only a private room, we cordon off the living room with a curtain separating it from the kitchen. It is not a room per se but our guests say it it comfortable and private enough.

I have been vegetarian all my life and since around 7 years ago I try to be vegan as well, which is working out quite well! Discount available for HappyCow Ambassadors :) Full-on sustainability advocate. I studied Environment and Resource Management, now working full time on the Electric Vehicle revolution. My 2018 renovated apartment has it all: low-temperature floor heating, PV panels, 4 types or recycling, ceramic cooking plate, quality second hand furniture, lots of plants, foldable bicycle for rent, and of course full access to the well equipped vegan kitchen :)
