Staying with Sarah and Darren was one of the best experiences that have happened to us. They are some of the best (if not the best) persons that we have ever met. We always felt welcomed and respected our privacy making us feel just like at home. Thank you very much for everything!
Sarah and Darren are the best hosts! And their dog Molly is such a sweetie! They were so accommodating during my stay, they checked in with me to make sure I had everything I needed, they recommended several great vegan spots to visit, and we had great conversations when we were together in the common areas, but they also gave me plenty of privacy. Their home is even more beautiful than in the pictures with the most comfortable bed in the basement bedroom, I got some solid sleep during my stay. And it was awesome to be able to travel and be in a vegan kitchen, they have all of the small appliances that make vegan cooking easy and they even cleared out space for me in their refrigerator and pantry! Overall, I am so glad to have found their listings on VegVisits and so grateful that they opened their home to me. I would definitely recommend them and visit again.
Staying in the Denver suburbs with Sarah and Darren was such an amazing experience. It is a little look into American life and a home away from home. I attended a conference in Denver and was in the USA for the first time. I loved having a home to come back to in the evening. The room I stayed in was big, with a nice and soft bed. You have your own shower and toilet and even a closet to put your dresses away etc. The area is nice and quiet. When I left my room in the morning their dog was waiting for me to say hi, like I was family already. I had some nice talks with Sarah and Darren, as I loved to hear all about being vegan in the US and the options available. They had some really good tips on what to do and where to eat. However they also gave me my space when needed. I wish I had more time to spend with them and at their house, but as I was attending a conference, I was all over the place. There is a train station quite nearby their house, I usually took an uber there, or took the uber to the city centre. The train takes an hour or so, so take this into account. I found it no problem, and loved looking out of the train window and see the mountains and landscape. When I landed in Denver Sarah was so kind as to pick me up from the train station (train leaves from inside the airport)
