Hello, I’m Jocelyn—an interior designer, yogini, photographer, entrepreneur, and proud empty nester. Creativity, yoga, and my Buddhist practice are where I find inner peace, and traveling the world is an expansion of inspiration for me. Being a homeowner myself, I am very considerate, respectful, and extremely clean when staying at other people's homes. I value authenticity and respect for nature. I'm down to earth and quiet easy going and love to brainstorm creative ideas.

About This Space

A closer look at the stay

About

My home is a gem, tucked away on a charming cul-de-sac lined with trees, shared with a few neighbors who look after one another. The living room enjoys bright southern exposure, offering relaxing views of sunset and Mt. Tamalpais. As a world traveler and interior designer, I've created a cozy sanctuary here that Ive loved sharing with others, and it has received fantastic reviews. The space accommodates three to five people with comfort. Fully quipped remodeled kitchen and bathroom. Organic comfy mattresses and care for non toxic products and recycling.

The space

A cozy, colorful bungalow on a quiet, private cul-de-sac in San Rafael — completely hidden from the street and shared with just a few friendly neighbors. Designed and feng shui’d by its owner, a hospitality interior designer, this home is warm, eclectic, and thoughtfully layered. As a designer, lighting is something I care about deeply — every fixture has a dimmer, ambient lighting is carefully selected throughout, and a salt lamp in the bedroom creates a calm, restorative glow. Solar lighting lines the entry pathway and the deck. The south-facing living room has a beautiful view of Mount Tamalpais. A surround sound system, record player with over 100 vinyl records, and instruments including a guitar, hand drum, and organ are available — please treat them with care. A yoga practice fits naturally into this space, and mats are available on request. The main bedroom has an organic foam queen mattress on the north wall. The garden room has a comfortable double bed, also on the north wall. The bright sunroom is a perfect digital nomad office with a daybed for reading and resting. The bathroom was remodeled in 2021. A half bath is located downstairs in the laundry area.

The kitchen

The kitchen is kept vegetarian and flexible for vegans — fully equipped with non-toxic cookware, natural and eco-conscious cleaning products, and filtered drinking water. Recycling is a household standard.

Other things to note

WIFI is fast and perfect for remote work. There are two outdoor spots for parking in the culdesac. There is white noise of traffic from the nearby freeway however you do not hear this inside the house with new windows. Sometimes the owls can be a bit chatty at night.
