  On our 2 1/2 wk travel through Costa Rica's many towns, renting cabanas in search of a town to purchase a home, Tinamaste at Maria & Marco's air bnb, was a WOW! It was by far a great adventure indeed. Exactly what we had been searching for. We appreciate the climates moist atmosphere as it is perfect this time of year for growing almost anything. Maria /Marco have a beautiful cabana, kept clean , comfortable and set up creatively keeping the visitors in mind. Surrounded by luscious fruit trees. They shared so many ideas and how they found their heaven to live life on purpose with gratitude. To me this is the healing just being in this wonderful piece of property in Costa Rica. Was truly a breathtaking experience with mountain/sunsets and peaceful sunrises captured my heart. A shower in the jungle? crazy awsome! Thank you both for all you do and for sharing the incredible fruits- ginger, terimic, avocados, and that one devine chocolate tasty custard fruit was so good, you gave so much. Would absolutely come back..Highly recommend!! I love you guys...Pura Vida

  I really wish I could recommend this place as a safe haven for healing but unfortunately due to the serious mold issues I cannot. As someone who is sensitive to mold, I was set off immediately upon entering the home. While it is challenging to find healthy places to stay in Costa Rica, this was one of the moldier places I came upon. I had to leave within 30 minutes of arrival. I appreciated the hosts offer to ozone the bedroom but with the leaking shower and building design, it wasn't enough to meet my healing needs. The hosts were kind and friendly. I am glad they were willing to refund me 3 out of the 5 nights I booked. Though I feel 4 out of 5 nights would have been more appropriate, especially given that they seemed aware of this issue. I wish them the best in their endeavours.

  I only stayed for 2 nights, but if I had a chance to do my stay in Costa Rica all over again, I would definitely stay here longer. Maria and Marco are lovely hosts - very thoughtful and considerate about check-in, communication and support while staying there, and check-out. The Sanctuary is absolutely a slice of heaven in the jungle. There is a bird sanctuary nearby, it's close to town, but far enough away to just enjoy the jungle, birds, monkeys, and silence. This is a very special space for anyone wanting peace, quiet, close to town, but in nature.
