Hey, I’m Victoria!

I'm a recent college grad who loves traveling and everything outdoors. I've traveled to India, China, Tanzania, Kenya, Australia, and a few countries in Western Europe. Most recently I came from a house-sitting/couchsurfing trip in Alaska (Anchorage, Seward, Denali, Fairbanks, and Juneau) where my friend and I went on spectacular hikes like the Harding Icefield Trail.

I've spent a bunch of time in the smallest state in the country (Rhode Island, where I grew up) and the largest state in the country (Alaska, I've traveled there twice).

Hobbies & Interests

Everything outdoors (biking is my main form of transportation, hiking, camping, etc.) I also enjoy cooking and baking, especially experimenting with new vegan versions of comfort food :)

Favourite Books, Music & Movies

I've loved reading ever since I was a kid, so I have lots of favorite books, but more recently I've been reading non-fiction/memoirs (Hillbilly Elegy, books relating to poverty and international development, Bury the Chains). I like atmospheric electronic chillout music as well as soundtracks from musicals and movies like Wicked, Les Mis, and The Hobbit. The 3 Idiots is one of my all-time favorite movies.

Fluent in English and Mandarin. Learning Spanish and Swahili

Graduated from college in May 2015

Companion Animals

I had a golden retriever while I was a kid and she was a large part of why I grew up loving animals. I don't have any companion animals now, though.
