We have renovated a home in Belize, Cayo district near Bel Mopan. We have added two additional suites for rent. The full house is fully VEGAN ONLY . Each unit has its own kitchen, bathroom, bed and refrigerator. We have been vegan 25 years and our home is peaceful and serene. Perfect getaway to unplug and connect with self and nature.

Ghan Eden is an off-the-beaten-path nature retreat in the Cayo District near Belmopan - quiet except for the sounds of nature. Cave tubing, ziplining, and ATV adventures are about 10 minutes from the gate, and the Belize Zoo and Maya ruins make easy day trips. Agua Clara Eco Park, part of the Ghan Eden family, offers river access, decks, and picnic space nearby. Getting around: airport transportation is available for an additional fee with advance arrangement, and transportation for tours can be arranged with the property manager. Rental cars are also available at the airport.

Macaw Suite is our largest suite at Ghan Eden, a family-built, Gold Standard Certified nature retreat near Belmopan in central Belize. The 325 sq ft suite sleeps 3 with a double bed and a twin bed, A/C, Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, a private bathroom with shower, and an enclosed patio. The property is smoke-free and vegan-friendly, with river and waterfall access, a five-acre seasonal farm, and central Belize adventures like cave tubing, ziplining, and the Belize Zoo close at hand. A comfortable base for a longer stay.
The space
Macaw Suite is a self-contained suite at the Ghan Eden residential setting: 325 sq ft with a double bed and a twin bed (sleeps 3), air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV with DVD player, a full kitchen, a private bathroom with shower, and an enclosed patio. A safe, telephone, iron and board, towels, and laundry services are included. The five-acre property offers river and waterfall access, a seasonal farm, a volleyball court, a gazebo, a playground, hammocks, and a fire pit area, with hiking trail access on the grounds. Check-in is 2:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM, with a two-night minimum.
The kitchen
The suite has its own private full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, hot water, and cookware. The kitchen is vegetarian and vegan-friendly, and uses produce from the five-acre farm when crops are in season. Let us know about dietary needs before arrival so we can discuss what is available during your stay.
Other things to note
Ghan Eden is a smoke-free, Gold Standard Certified facility. No pets. Stays have a two-night minimum. Weekly and monthly rates are available for longer stays.
