I am a mum to teenagers and adults, and a teacher. I run a CIC which provides mental health support and alternative education provision in partnership with nature and our wonderful therapy animals. In our work, all animals have the right to choose their companions, their housing and whether they wish to take part in interactions with the humans we work with. Their autonomy is at the centre of the work we do, teaching children and adults how to set and respect their own emotional and physical boundaries as well as those of others. In the past I have been a musician, an actor, a cleaner, a waitress and many other things between. I love people but also understand my own need for time alone to reset and recharge.
