Zen Dome: Relax & Revive in the Beauty of Nature at the Blue Heart Sanctuary

With a heart full of love and a deep reverence for ALL life, I felt the call to be of service to help animals in need by creating a refuge where they could live their lives abundant in love and peace. I took a leap of faith and in 2001 founded the Blue Heart Sanctuary, a for-service, non-profit 501 (c) 3 Animal Sanctuary. Originally formed in Florida where I served as an animal cruelty investigator, after a near miss by hurricane Charley, the Sanctuary and more than 60 farm and companion animals relocated to higher ground on 40-acres in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I have a Master's degree in Education and for many years, worked as the Director of a Federal grant program. Then in 2017, everything in my world Shifted. I had a "Spiritual Awakening" after healing my broken wrist in a week. I began to remember the connection I have with Angels and became more consistent in my daily practice of meditation, sungazing, breathwork and yoga. I have been shown that I am a steward of this land and that what began as a Sanctuary for animals has evolved and expanded into the creation of the SólGaia Center for Illumined Hearts, an oasis of peace that is energetically tuned to a high vibration frequency of LOVE. This sacred Cherokee land serves as a place for people to disengage from the densities and chaos of our world, connect with nature, open their hearts and feel the unconditional love of the animals.
