A handcrafted hideaway tucked in a private 3 acre forest, lovingly reforested from an old tea estate stands humbly by the Runakanda Rainforest and the serene Maguru River. Wake up to birdsong, watch the sunrise & sunsets over the forest canopy. Enjoy panoramic views of the forest, lakes and mountains Your stay includes all three plant-based meals made with fresh ingredients, served with love and in harmony with the forest. Your stay supports the villagers the true guardians of the land. 2 hours highway journey from Colombo . Exit from the Dodangodo interchange and proceed to Baduraliya To reach this secluded retreat, you’ll journey through a picturesque landscape of mountains, paddy fields, tea estates, and dense forest lands. Located at the very end of Hadigalla Road in the peaceful village of Dicwella Janapadhaya, our forest sanctuary is a place to reconnect with nature, unwind, and experience true tranquility.
The space
tranquility. The private forest was lovingly grown by my husband and me, our hidden cabin offers the perfect escape from the busy world. Surrounded by lush greenery, the cabin features a cozy living room, out door dining, two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. A spacious patio has a sofa with pillows and a comfortable hammock. 360 degree breathtaking forest views, invites you to relax in nature’s embrace. The Maguru River flows gently beside the land, while the Runakanda Rainforest forms a natural border, making you feel as though you are nestled deep within an untouched rainforest.
