Our farmhouse is situated on the edge of the village of the Bridge of Earn. it is a peaceful location with gentle hills all around. The yurt is in our large garden, which guests have access to. Although it is a very rural location we are only ten minutes drive from Perth which has all of the facilities of a small city

About This Space
A closer look at the stay
About
Our beautiful, hand made yurt is situated in our farmhouse garden. We are in a rural setting on the edge of the village of the Bridge of Earn, ideally situated for exploring lovely Perthshire. We are approximately 45 minutes drive from the centre of Edinburgh and one hour from Glasgow and one hour from the ski slopes of Glenshee. Breakfast is included and if you would like an evening meal this can be easily arranged! Private yoga classes and Reiki sessions are also available.
The space
Our yurt is an amazing unique space to relax and spend some time exploring this lovely corner of Perthshire. It is within walking distance to the Bridge of Earn where there are shops and a couple of pubs, a Chinese and Indian takeaway and a fish and chip shop. There are lovely walks directly from the house. Moncrieffe Hill is a local beauty spot, great for walking and managed by The Woodland Trust. The beautiful city of Perth is just a ten minute drive away. Motorway access to Edinburgh and Glasgow is very easy and we are equidistant from the two cities (an hour's drive). The ski slopes of Glenshee are also only an hour away so if you would like a ski holiday this is a perfect location. We also offer delicious, vegetarian evening meals on request. Private yoga classes and Reiki sessions can also be arranged. Inside the yurt there is a wood burning stove and electricity, a stereo sound system if you like to listen to music. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided inside the yurt. There are board games and cards, art and craft activities and some musical instruments. There are three, double futons, with bedding provided, for comfortable sleeping in this beautiful communal space! Guest access: Guests have access to the yurt from either the side entrance to the garden or the from the front of the garden. The bathroom (shower) is situated on the ground floor of our house and is accessible from the back of the house. There is plenty of parking space here too. There is a fire pit and a bbq in the garden which guests may use.

Our kitchen is a traditional warm Scottish farmhouse kitchen. It has a well stocked pantry and spice shelves!
