The space
The property is gently terraced with a stream at the bottom and a fresh water spring at the top which feeds into a natural pool. The caravan, converted horse box, and bell tents are dotted around the land, generally with their own terrace, outside sitting facilities, compost toilet and privacy. There is a list of accommodation and sleeping facilities at the bottom of this description, please feel free to book and we will let you know which ones are free.
There is a large communal kitchen, as none of the accommodation has its own kitchen. All pots, plates and utensils are provided and there is both an indoor and out door sitting area. There are also hot water eco showers and more compost toilets in this area for guests to use. Everything is very simple and we do not use harmful chemicals in the bathrooms or kitchen and ask that guests also use personal products that are kind to the earth and will not effect our fragile eco system.
We have an onsite masseuse and reiki practitioner and beginner/intermediate yoga lessons are available on request. There is a morning meditation 3 mornings a week which guests are welcome to join if they like. Many things are possible just ask. We also offer space for people that would like to embrace a vegan life style for health reasons and provide a private space for people to detox and heal.
Bessie the Caravan-Sleeps 4 Big double bed, and 2 single bunks that can be folded down to create 2 seats and a table. Fly nets, cupboard space, outside seating and shaded area, personal use, outside compost toilet.
Zircon Plumes the caravan - 5 berth caravan with cooking facilities, compost toilet and outside sitting facilities.
Bella the Bell Tent- 4m sleeps up to 4 people, Double bed and single bed with pull out underneath bed, this can also be used as a sofa if only 2 people staying. Cupboard space, fly nets, outside seating.
Balendu the Bell Tent- 4m - Sleeps 2 comfortably, 4 squashed, outside seating area with fantastic views
Villa Verde- Army officers tent, sleeps up to 4 people, Double bed, 2 single beds, Cupboard space, fly nets, outside seating.
Accommodation is the same price per unit, whether you book for 1 or 4 people.
All of the accommodations have solar powered lights. For charging phones, laptops, touches please use the power points in the communal kitchen and living space.
All guests have use of the communal vegetarian kitchen. However for an extra cost we can provide vegan meals and pizzas in our outside pizza oven
This is a strictly vegetarian property and we ask that no meat products are brought onto the property. We ask guests not to smoke in their accommodation or the communal areas and would like this to be an alcohol free zone, as we feel this promotes a more conscious and connected atmosphere, both for adults and children. This is a really amazing place to just take a break from all things toxic.
We are powered by sun and water, so sometimes the batteries can run a bit low, we ask that you use the electricity thoughtfully.
We have wifi, again due to the limited electricity we turn it on for a few hours in the morning and again in the evening. If you really need it more then that we can come to an arrangement or there are 2 restaurants/cafes in the village that have high speed internet that you can visit.
