If you're looking for an escape from the city, where you can relax in nature, listen to the rustle of the wind and birdsong, and on clear nights, watch the Milky Way – this cottage is just for you. This is our small, intimate, vegan retreat in Ostrów (Żarki commune). The tiny cottage – 23m² – is incredibly cozy. Inside, you'll find a comfortable 180x200 cm bed and a 140x200 cm fold-out sofa bed – the perfect base for two people, which can also accommodate four adults or a family with three children (if the children sleep together). We are located in a truly secluded spot – 0.5 km from the main road, on a quiet street with only a few neighbors. The forest is literally a 5-minute walk away – a perfect place for morning berry picking, mushroom picking, or simply a leisurely stroll through the greenery. 🏰 Nearby attractions: Just a few minutes away are the Poraj reservoir, the marina in Jastrząb (kayaks, pedal boats), the swimming pool in Żarki, and the ruins of fairytale castles in Olsztyn, Bobolice, Mirów, and Ogrodzieniec. 🐶 A few words about our backyard: The cottage is 10 meters from our house, so we share the garden with our two dogs. One is a very loud, wary four-year-old, the other is an ailing, blind senior (also loud, but completely safe). If you're looking for complete silence – be warned that dogs sometimes bark, and during the season, someone mows the lawn. But it's this natural, unhurried rhythm of the countryside that makes it a true escape from the city. 🌱 And finally, our small, heartfelt request: We treat this place as our vegan oasis – our little vegan world. That's why all the dishes here are new, clean, and exclusively for plant-based cuisine. We invite those who, like us, love peace and nature and want to respect this unique atmosphere. The space

Our cozy 23 m² cottage is a completely self-contained, private space, comfortable for 2 people but it can host up to 5 guests (if 3 children sleep together on one big bed). It features a separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed (180x200 cm) and large patio doors leading directly to the garden, plus a living area with a foldable sofa bed and a cast-iron stove (shouldn'tbe used before sleeping if you want to use the sofa bed). The modern bathroom includes a small bathtub. Guests have exclusive access to the entire cottage and the fenced green garden with a large wooden table, benches, and a parasol. Although we live next door in the main house and are always happy to help, the layout and surrounding greenery ensure full privacy and a true escape into nature.

The kitchen

Our kitchenette is located in the living area and comes fully equipped for self-catering. It features a brand new stove and an Amica fridge that has never stored any animal products. We provide basic cookware, utensils, and dishes. The counter space is compact but functional, perfect for preparing simple, wholesome meals after a day of hiking.

Other things to note

The road to the house is bumpy (the last 500m) not very suitable for low suspension cars.
