Getting around the area
Stonewater House is situated in Lamlash on the beautiful Isle of Arran, overlooking the sea and Holy Isle. Arran is known as "Scotland in Miniature", as it has a little bit of everything, from the highlands to the lowlands, an abundance of wildlife, awe-insping walks, hikes and views and wonderful beaches...not to mention the sunsets to die for. Favorite places: There are so many on this island. If you enjoy breathtaking scenery, walks, cycling, photography, wild life, geology or just being still and chlling in a relaxed space, then this is the place for you! Getting around: There are regular buses which run around the island from a few steps away from Stonewater House. Free parking on our driveway, on the road, and in two neaby carparks. Storage for your bikes. Taxis are available locally too. Also amazing coastal, woodland and mountain walks on the doorstep!

About
Warm and modern Vegan Guesthouse overlookng the sea on the beautiful Isle of Arran. We offer delicious plant based / vegan breakfasts; vegan packed lunches by arrangement; all rooms en-suite and with tea and coffee-making facilties; guest lounge with TV, and fridge for guests' use; bike storage shed and drying facilities for any wet outdoor gear! Free Wi-Fi available throughout the house. We are just a few miles from the Arran Ferry terminal and a regular bus service runs around the Island from outside Stonewater House.
The space
We offer three en suite rooms (king, double and two twin beds) with delicious plant-based breakfast included. Alternatively Stonewater House is available to be let as a whole on a self-catering basis. The house can sleep up to 10 people, using four en-suite bedrooms and two lounge/ dining room areas. When self-catering, we ask that no animal or dairy products are used in our kitchen please, or brought into the house. Please contact us for further details and the prices. There is free parking in the driveway. Guest access: Guest lounge, with log fire and sea view; satellite TV; books and games to borrow ; fridge for guests' use (not to be used please for any dairy or animal products); bike and golf club storage shed; wet outdoor gear drying facility; free wi-fi througout; all bedrooms en-suite with TVs, tea and coffee-making facilties; hairdryers and complimentary cruelty-free/ vegan shower and hair washing products. Vegan packed lunches to take with you on your Arran explorations are avaialble on request. We welcome families and can provide homemade organic vegetable or fruit pureed baby food for breakfasts.
The kitchen
We do not use, or allow, any animal or dairy products in our kitchen. All of our ingredients are organic, Fairtrade and locally sourced wherever possible. We are happy to cater for gluten free diets. Please let us have details of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking.

We ask that no animal products (including dairy, eggs and cheese) are brought into Stonewater House please. Stonewater House has a No Smoking policy throughout (including the outside areas). Sorry but we do not accept dogs or other pets.
