About
We are a farm animal sanctuary and all of the 70+ animals on the property are rescues. The property itself is secluded, but not far from civilization. We are one and a half hours from Charlotte or Raleigh, and two hours from Asheville. Nearby Salem Lake features, kayaking, boating, walking and bicycle trails. Downtown Winston-Salem is only 10 minutes away and has several fun art galleries, bars and restaurants. This is a family-run, nonprofit farm so there maybe be other people on the property taking care of the animals, especially in the mornings. If you have any questions about activities on the dates you are considering, we are happy to help! All proceeds go directly to the care of the animals. We look forward to having you stay!

(this is for your safety and theirs) - You are welcome to walk around outside the fenced areas and gently interact with animals that come over to greet you. (beware of your fingers as some will nip or head butt for attention) - We are pet friendly, but please keep your pet close and be aware of other animals.
