About this space

It is a 33 m² mini apartment, two connecting rooms, a double bed, two single beds, and a bright bathroom with a large window and hairdryer.The morning light illuminates the beautiful wooden beams showing exposed walls in the old Guamo stone and brick that have been "dressed" with natural lime. Each room has a large window overlooking the greenery outside and the mountains in the distance. On the original terracotta floors, you will find wooden furniture made-to-measure by Lucchesi artisans; each bed is enhanced with natural pillows in spelled chaff, lavender, and pine to help facilitate pleasant dreams. This peaceful spot is perfect for a family, or two couples, who would like to be together but, at the same time, enjoy privacy and freedom

The space

Villa Galgani has three rooms, each one different, all non-smoking, with air-conditioning and/or fan, Wi-Fi service throughout, and with attention to detail with handcrafted and minimal furnishings. We have elevated the flavor of the past and have preserved the original wooden ceiling beams, interior stone walls, and essential furnishing typical of the time.

 We understand that families and friends like to stay together and not necessarily all in the same room. We, therefore, offer interconnecting rooms providing both privacy and freedom.

Each room has an en-suite bathroom with natural local soaps. We invite you to sleep on natural and healthful mattresses of cotton and wool made in Italy and relax on natural pillows in spelled chaff, lavender, and pine. The rooms have large, white windows which overlook either the interior garden or the greenery outside.

To nourish and reinforce the atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation, by choice, the rooms are not equipped with televisions.

A small library with books in various languages is available at your disposal.

Roses, irises, and calla lilies bloom in our garden, along with aromatic herbs and plants. During the summer, you can savor aperitifs and in the morning, enjoy a tasty breakfast amid olive and cherry trees.

We also host, with notice, your Faithful Friend of any size free of charge.

There is a free parking area just behind the Villa.

Smoking is strictly forbidden. Smoking and Eating are strictly forbidden (they are only allowed in the garden). Carefully maintain the things that have been delivered to you (for example keys, towels, etc.) and return them intact at the time of departure. In case of loss, the cost of € 15.00 per key will be charged; We are not responsible for the Loss, Theft or Damage of objects owned by you. We cannot be held liable for any Disservices due to total or partial outages, beyond our control, such as electricity, water, or internet connection. We will do our best to resolve these issues, should they occur, in a timely fashion. Please do not break, ruin or steal objects inside the room or from other guests: in the event that they are damaged, the manager may ask for a refund for their replacement, loss or repair; including the improper use of complementary equipment. Normal wear and tear is excluded. Please report to us any accidents or incidents in connection with any property damage. Before your departure, the Manager will inspect the room to verify the status.

I will also be available to direct you on alternative routes that aim to travel outside the City Walls - like the "Ville Monumentali Lucchesi" (Monumental Villas of Lucca) with their marvelous historical parks, bike itineraries and eco-friendly routes, such as walking on the Via Francigena, or the Colline Lucchesi, or the Monte Serra, or the Via degli Acquedotti - all in step with nature. In addition, there will be opportunities to participate in equestrian excursions where you can enter into the heart of the Lucca countryside, enjoying nature on horseback.
