Tynllidiart, which means Gate Cottage, is set in the beautiful Ystwyth Valley, situated on the coast within central Wales close to Aberystwyth. Set 800 feet up in the Cambrian Mountains with beautiful views over the valley of The Ystwyth to the mountains beyond, this converted miners cottage and barn retains the original welsh stone walls in the cottage and the original flagstones in the conservatory, once the floor of the living room and kitchen in front of a wattle & daub fireplace and brick oven. Part of our family history for 4 generations and now sympathetically modernised but retaining a hint of the lead & silver mining community these cottages once served, this jewel of a dwelling is now spacious and practical.An ideal spot to relax, unwind and explore the local area via walking trails and narrow-gauge railway.
The space
Gate Cottage offers a large open living, cooking and eating space accessed via a stone floored conservatory, which also provides an additional sofa bed if needed.
The bedroom has a super King sized bed and connects to the shower room and toilet.

The kitchen
As lovers of food the kitchen is fully equipped with a large range of utensils, pots and pans as well as a coffee machine and juicer.
Additionally there is a large fridge and a 5 ring gas hob cooker. Please note we currently do not have any freezing facilities.

The drive way is suitable for 2 cars.
