Come and recharge your batteries in this former coaching inn built in the 18th century. The house is located in the Authie valley, in the charming village of Auxi le Château. The garden of more than 2000 m2 includes an orchard which is bordered by the Authie river. The house can accommodate 7 people. The beaches and the bay of the Somme are 45 minutes away by car (Le Crotoy, Le Tréport, Fort-Mahon Plage...).

The space

GROUND FLOOR -Large room with kitchen, dining room and a sitting area with a fireplace. In the kitchen: fridge, 4 hotplates, oven, coffee machine, toaster. -Large separate living room with dining table with extension -Bathroom with bath and toilet -Linen room with washing machine, iron and an extra large fridge/freezer. FIRST FLOOR -One double bedroom with bathroom and WC, and beautiful view of the garden -A bedroom for 2 persons with a very nice view on the garden -A large bedroom for 2 persons -One bedroom for 1 person EXTERIOR -Large garden of more than 2000 m2 which includes an orchard (apple trees, pear trees, cherry trees) which is bordered by the Authie river. -Terrace -Wooden garden table and chairs AMENITIES -Sheets, towels and tea towels are provided (coton, linen). -I use natural products for washing and cleaning. -The house aims to be zero waste and zero plastic. -I have feather duvets and wool blankets from my grandmother. The kitchen

KITCHEN -Large room with kitchen, dining room and a sitting area with a fireplace. In the kitchen: fridge, 4 hotplates, oven, coffee machine, toaster. -An extra large fridge/freezer is available in the linen room. -Tea, coffee provided. *** This is a vegan house. Please do not bring any animal product. *** SHOPS & MARKET The house is located 5 minutes walk from shops (bakeries, supermarket, post office, cafes, etc). A market takes place every Saturday morning in Auxi (5 min walk). You will find organic, permaculture or sustainable agriculture market gardeners, a baker. And Pascaline sells bulk produce (every other Saturday). There is a supermarket 5 minutes away by car or 15 minutes on foot.

Other things to note

I do not have any pets. But you might see the ducks that have taken up residence in the garden. The garden is also home to many birds and a cat.
