We bought the Control Tower in 2011 with the aim of renovating it then opening as a vegetarian Bed and Breakfast. We have styled it throughout with Art Deco furniture and fittings so the inside feels in keeping with the modernist exterior.
Companion Animals
We have two adorable rescue cats - Window & Mandrel named after the secret radio counter measures they carried our from RAF North Creake - they have their own hash tag #ControlTowerCats =^.^= =^.^=

The Control Tower is in North Norfolk just 3 miles from the beautiful beach at Wells-next-the-Sea. There are stunning country houses and wonderful pubs serving local food. Getting around: There are national rail links (40 minute drive) and bus stops within 5 miles.

A closer look at the stay
About
Originally constructed in 1943 to oversee take-offs and landings for secret WWII missions, this historic building has since been carefully restored into a modernist landmark in North Norfolk—just a short distance from Wells-next-the-Sea. The interior showcases elegant art deco design, with period en suite double rooms offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. A fully vegetarian breakfast is served each morning, prepared with locally sourced ingredients that highlight the region’s rich produce.
The space
Our double rooms are all en suite and have period furniture including wardrobes, dressing tables and tea and coffee materials with fresh organic milk (or dairy free substitues) Guest access: As well as your room and art deco bathroom you also have use of the large guest living room with open fire and games/puzzles. Feel free to have a wonder around the wildflower garden or rest under one of our mature trees.

Our kitchen is 100% veggie and we are very happy to provide dairy free options too.
