About this space
We live in a secluded, off-grid, heavenly cabin, where we share space with nature and majestic wildlife.Once a hunt camp, now a refuge of peace for all; animals and humans. We are blessed to be surrounded with water, trees and silence. It's our mission to protect and conserve this piece of land and everyone who lives here.Beside our home, in "The Bunkie" we would like to share the peace that we find here with our guests. No matter the season beauty and peace is abundant.
The space
The Bunkie is a private cabin next to our home. It has its only screened in porch with a beautiful view of the lake, a few steps away.
Inside there is a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and single on top. The kitchen, dining area and bedroom are all in the main room for the Bunkie. There is a beautiful bathroom with a specious shower and window which looks out over the lake.
The kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a two burner propane stove, and all the dishes and cooking tools that you'll need. There is also a small fridge located in the bathroom.
All dishes and cutlery is provided.
Other things to note
We often have newly rescued foster dogs, so bringing companion animals is not always allowed. All dogs must always be leashed for the safely of the wildlife who truly "own" this property.
There are several hiking trials throughout our 300 acres, with the plan to put in many more in the future.
We have a canoe and kayaks which we are happy to share with guests.
In the winter the lake is wonderful for hiking and skating. In the summer it is the perfect lake for swimming, paddling or just sitting on the dock and enjoying the peace and quiet.

• This land belongs to the animals. We are merely guests. Please let’s all be good guests. • No Animal Products are allowed on the property. All food must be vegan. • Wildlife must not be disturbed. If you see wild animals send them love then quietly move away. • Never leave ANY food outside ANYWHERE including on the porch. We love bears and all animals but we don’t want to attract them. • Do not harm any trees or plants in any way. • To protect the earth all bathroom and cleaning supplies must be strictly biodegradable (please ask us if you don’t have any). • Please keep sound to a minimum at all times of the day. • No motors are allowed in the lake. • Our power is limited to what the sun shares with us so please always conserve energy. No electrical heating elements can be used such as; heaters, coffee machines, hair dryers, irons, etc. • All visiting “pets” must be on a leash so they do not chase wildlife. • Please take all trash home with you. • Never litter, please leave the natural world as you found it. • No smoking. • Do not take anything from nature except photos. • All bug spray must be free of DEET and other harmful chemicals. • Do not dump anything into the lake or nearby the lake without permission. • NO HUNTING, NO FISHING, NO VIOLENCE • Tread lightly, keep peace and love in your heart.

Recently my little human family of three purchased a hunt camp on three hundred acres of land and have built our home here. Our intention is to create a safe sanctuary for the wild animals who live here and a retreat for humans.
