Welcome to our peaceful little sanctuary in the heart of Poblenou, Barcelona. Just a 5-minute walk from the Mediterranean, our bright bohemian studio is the perfect base for exploring the city while enjoying a slower pace of life. Filled with natural light, plants and calming spaces, it features a private terrace, a cosy indoor sunroom and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We love sharing our home with respectful travellers who appreciate conscious living, local experiences and, of course, great vegan food. We'll be happy to recommend our favourite cafés, restaurants, markets and hidden gems to help you experience Barcelona like a local.

The kitchen

Our home is a bright and cosy 45 m² studio apartment on the top (4th) floor of a traditional Barcelona building in the heart of Poblenou. It's ideal for one person or a couple looking for a peaceful base from which to explore the city.

The open-plan space includes a comfortable double bed, a bright living area with a cosy papasan chair, and an indoor gallery/sunroom that has become our favourite meditation and reading corner. The apartment is filled with natural light throughout the day, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, fridge and kettle, making it easy to prepare meals at home. There's also a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a walk-in dressing area with plenty of storage, and a private outdoor terrace where you can enjoy breakfast, read a book or unwind with a drink after a day at the beach.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire apartment, including the terrace, kitchen and all living spaces, ensuring complete privacy throughout their stay.

Our home has been lovingly created as a calm and welcoming sanctuary, and we're looking forward to sharing it with guests who will enjoy and care for it as if it were their own.

Other things to note

There are no companion animals living in the apartment, making it a good option for guests with pet allergies.

The studio is located on the 4th (top) floor of a traditional Barcelona building without a lift, so you'll need to climb the stairs. We think it's worth it for the peace, privacy and natural light!

Poblenou is one of Barcelona's most authentic and liveable neighbourhoods—a perfect blend of beach life, local culture and creativity. Once an industrial district, it has transformed into a vibrant area filled with independent cafés, artisan bakeries, design studios, galleries and beautiful tree-lined streets, while still maintaining its relaxed local character.

The Mediterranean is just a 5-minute walk from the apartment, making it easy to start your day with a swim, enjoy a run or yoga on the beach, or watch the sunrise with a coffee in hand. The beachfront promenade stretches for kilometre...

As passionate vegans, we'd be delighted to share our favourite plant-based spots with you. Some of our local favourites include Roots & Rolls for creative sushi, Blu Bar for relaxed beachfront dining, Petit Bangkok for delicious vegan Thai options, Melo-Jia for incredible vegan Chinese cuisine, and Desoriente for Mediterranean-inspired vegetarian and vegan dishes. We also know the best speciality coffee shops, local markets and hidden gems that many visitors never discover.

Everything you need is within walking distance, including supermarkets, pharmacies, gyms, yoga studios and the lively Rambla del Poblenou, where locals gather throughout the day.

Getting around is easy. Poblenou Metro Station (L4) is just a few minutes away, with excellent connections to the Gothic Quarter, El Born, Passeig de Gràcia, the Sagrada Família and the rest of Barcelona. There are also tram stops, bus routes and plenty of Bicing stations nearby if you'd like to explore the city by bike.

For us, Poblenou offers the best of Barcelona: the sea, a strong sense of community, incredible food and a slower, more relaxed way of living. We think you'll fall in love with it just as we have. 🌿
