Stylish luxury villa with large pool and Cognac vineyard views

The space

The gîte comprises of three spacious bedrooms all furnished with Emma mattresses, premium linens, & blackout curtains. All rooms have been lovingly restored and feature beautiful furniture and contemporary artwork.

Bedroom 1 - Situated downstairs. This large stunning dual aspect room has a super king bed, wardrobe, dressing table and bedside shelves. It has direct access to a private walled courtyard, with dining table and festoon lighting, perfect for lazy breakfasts in the sun or long relaxing dinners.

Bedroom 2 - Situated upstairs. The beautiful twin bedded room with vaulted ceilings has an en-suite bathroom with matching vaulted ceiling and large shower. The room has hanging rails and bedside table.

Bedroom 3 - Situated upstairs. This magnificent dual aspect room features a king size bed, wardrobe, dressing table, bedside shelves and it's own large balcony, accessed through double balcony doors. It has the most stunning views across the vineyards and sunflower fields. Complete with a bistro dining set, it's ready for you to enjoy coffee and croissants in the mornings, or watch the sunset with a glass of wine.

There are two brand new large stylish bathrooms, one with a roll-top bath, double sink and shower, and the other with a large walk-in shower, both complete with complimentary vegan organic toiletries. Downstairs there is a large brand new kitchen/diner and living room with all mod-cons including a dishwasher, Nespresso maker, smart TV, and high-speed WiFi.

As well as the high-speed WiFi throughout, there is also a dedicated office desk space with stunning vaulted ceilings and an ethernet connection. This space also has a record player and a collection of vinyl for you to enjoy.

The kitchen

There is a large brand new kitchen/diner and living room with all mod-cons including a dishwasher, Nespresso maker, smart TV, and high-speed WiFi. We provide all the basics you need for cooking too, including oil, vinegar, tea, coffee and plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery.

With each week booked with us we offer two complimentary vegan breakfasts for all guests. Guests can also pre-order vegan picnic baskets for walks and days out, organic vegetable boxes ready for your arrival, and fridge fill services.

Other things to note

You can book vegan picnic hampers to days out and vegan fridge fill for when you first arrive, meaning you don't have to rush to the supermarket! It will be stocked with all the vegan goodies you need, from the best places around. We can also arrange a fabulous organic veg box from the organic farm just over the road!

The discreet yet welcoming owners Jen & Nick live on site with their friendly dog (a cockapoo called Betty) and two cats Peep and Moomoo (they are very shy rescue cats so they mainly stay indoors).

There is free, on-site parking at the gîte and an electric charge point in the village (1 mile away)

The property is well situated with quick access to several airports and train stations.

Poitiers Airport - 50 minute drive

Limoges Airport - 1.25 hour drive

Bordeaux airport - 1.45 hour drive

The TGV can be accessed from Angoulême (30 minute drive) which has links with Paris (1hr45) and Bordeaux (30 minutes) as well as countless other connections to Europe.

During summer months - June, July and August there is a 7 night minimum stay and check is on a Saturday. Outside of these months, it is a 3 night minimum stay. Please contact us if you have any special requests though and we will do our best to accommodate you.
