I'm a Vegan of nearly 29 years, predominantly for the animals. Over that time I've seen Veganism grow from being a mico-niche of Vegetarianism to being a global movement. This has to be good news for, the animals and the planet.

I can help you up your kitchen skills. There is plenty of space for Yoga and quiet meditation. I can offer a fully catered detox weekend if you would like to try deliciously healthy food, this can be booked in advance.

Getting around the area
Dalegarth is the terminus for the Ravenglass and Eskdale railway, a narrow 15" gauge steam railway and it passes direcrtly in front of the cottage. Lots of great walking directly from the door, ranging from low level riverside walks to days spent on the fells. Leave the car at home and travel by train for a 15% discount! The cottage is in the heart of the lake district and Scafell can be walked from the door. The beautiful coast of West Cumbria is just 9 miles away.

About This Space
A closer look at the stay
About
Situated near the village of Boot in the heart of the lake district. The house is the end one of a row of 19th century miners cottages. It has lovely views, and sits beneath a path to Scafell.
The space
North facing window with view onto the fellside. Double bed, wardrobe and drawer space.
The kitchen
You are welcome to use the kitchen appliences, I have both a blender and juicer. Fridge available.
Other things to note
I have two dogs who share home with me, Jack and Cadpig, both are lovely boys, but will proberbly greet you with a bark or two. The cottage has wifi, but doesn't have a mobile phone signal, it's a great place to undertake a digital detox. Peace and quiet abound. Parking is available pretty close.

The cottage is the end one of a residential row and their residents daily lives need to be respected. So we keep the noise down for each other, we park considerately, we acknowledge that we are living remotely and help each other. If you're happy with that then this is a great place to stay.
