Getting around the area
We're close to many amenities and people have easily stayed here with no car. We have bikes to borrow. Nearby are three lovely parks on the water (one is large), a grocery store, theatre, library, coffee shop, tennis court, water taxi and more. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and we live right next door in case you need anything.

The space
A bedroom with private entrance and en-suite bathroom, with access to shared areas of the house. You'll have a completely private room and bathroom, and will share the common areas, including the shaded back yard, kitchen, porch, living, and dining, rooms, if we have house-guest(s). Guest access: Off-street parking, fenced back yard, high speed ethernet (no wi-fi), books, DVDs, games, washer and dryer.
The kitchen
Champion Juicer, Vita-Mix, Excalibur dehydrator, large refrigerator, vintage stove, toaster oven, coffee grinder and maker, popcorn popper, blender, pots and pans. No microwave or dishwasher.
Other things to note
Some people have had trouble with phone reception and have used ethernet adaptors: we do not allow wi-fi regardless. We are limited by the city to two short stays per year so prefer month-long stays and we're open to longer after a trial period.
