I’m Marcus, husband to Maria and father to two little daughters. We are a plant-based family. I am also a storyteller, and we have an ever growing chemical free, regenerative and no-dig vegetable garden - where we try to source as much home grow food as we can. We run a 10 acre nature restoration project, Rock Meadow, which you will have the benefit of when you stay with us.

Neighbourhood

Rock Cottage is nestled in the rolling hills and gentle valleys of rural Herefordshire, a peaceful hideaway we’re lucky to call home. Just next to the cottage is our 10-acre rewilding and nature restoration project — a patchwork of newly planted native woodland, wildflower meadows, and a clear, babbling brook that you’re welcome to wander beside or dip your toes in. Our meadow also backs onto ancient woodland, and from the top of the field you get breathtaking views across the Black Mountains and incredible sunsets.
We’re about 30 minutes from Hay-on-Wye, the beloved “Town of Books” and host...
