The lower level of the main house has a gift shop and community lounge area. The nights are very quiet and peaceful. The days are filled with the voices of the individuals who call PEAK home. When you reserve your stay with us, our onsite team will provide you a tour if you'd like! You can be introduced to the individuals at PEAK. Just one rule... if a pig lays down for a belly rub it’s required you do so. : ) Of course, these interactions are on the individuals' terms and are dependent on them wanting to engage (most are usually very happy to have visitors). About
Uplands PEAK Sanctuary welcomes you to this incredible sanctuary for all in Freedom, IN. One of our onsite team members will warmly greet you at the Main House. Uplands PEAK is a 501c3 nonprofit organization creating a community of respect for all species centering our fellow animals as here with us, not for us.
The space
The Retreat Room includes your own personal tub and gas fireplace for a luxurious stay at Uplands PEAK Sanctuary. After a day of exploring the sanctuary, soak in a lavender bath by the fire before curling up in bed for a restful night's sleep. Wake up each morning to the sounds of sanctuary life, to continue your retreat with us or explore many options nears us like Bloomington's downtown shops and restaurants, McCormick Creek State Park, Spencer's local craft brewery. The Retreat Room is located on the second floor of the PEAK Main House. The room sleeps up to 3 (1 Double Bed and 1 Sofa Bed), has its own private clawfoot tub, toilet, sink, fireplace, and mini-fridge. If you prefer a shower, there is a large guest bathroom on the second floor. Just outside The Retreat Room is a cozy space to take in beautiful views, read a book from our library, and sip on some complimentary coffee. The lower level has a gift shop and community lounge area. The nights are very quiet and peaceful. The days are filled with the voices of the individuals who call PEAK home.
The kitchen
Your private room has a mini-fridge. Just outside your room, you will find coffee for you to sip on as you take in the beautiful view from the library.
