About this space

My place is a home where you can kick your shoes off and be cozy and comfortable. It's a creative, colorful space, filled with beautiful pieces of art, an indigenous garden attracting local bird species and some local wildlife too. The defining features of the space is the character brickwork, exposed wooden beams, wooden sash windows and wooden floors, resulting in an earthy charm.Welcome Glen is far from the maddening crowd, but close enough if you need it.

The space

Guests will have full access to the house except for the studio room which will be locked.

Downstairs is an open plan lounge dining room, kitchen, with a fireplace in the lounge.

There is also a quaint toilet/shower/basin tucked neatly under the staircase.

Upstairs room 1 has a double bed , balcony, en suite toilet, bath and basin. Cupboard area with shelves and hanging space.

Room 2 queen size bed ,cupboard space with shelves and hanging space.

A desk and chair.

The kitchen

The kitchen has a 4 plate gas stove, electric oven, airfryer, toaster, blender, juicer, coffee plungers, washing machine.2 cutting surfaces.

Other things to note

The suburb is very quite, and a safe neighborhood when children ride their bikes and skateboard.

Off street parking behind a gate is available.

My home is 2,5km from Glencairn Beach and picturesque tidal pool. Mountain views all around Welcome Glen. Welcome Glen also has its own troop of baboons tgat inhabit the natural surrounding area, they are often seen in the neighborhood. Porcupines, mongoose and an array of birdlife are also features of this suburb. Eat, surf, yoga, a vegan vegetarian eatery is 2km from my home, offers fresh, delicious food, yoga and surf classes. They have also opened a mocktail bar. You can catch a train from Glencairn station to town and various other stops along the way. Historic Simonstown is roughly 7km...
