Things to see/do: Surf, swim and sun bathe at Tamarin Beach, enjoy La Preneuse Beach and discover the Martello tower, visit the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation's bird sanctuary, visit the last functional l sea salt manufacturing site, Kite Surf or swim at Le Morne beach and visit it's open air historical slavery memorial museum, hike into the Black River Gorges, enjoy a day on the a catamaran, visit Chamarel with it’s 7 coloured earth, waterfall and rum manufacturing, discover Flic En Flac's long beach and buzzing beach town life or drive further south along the beautiful coast to Baie Du Cap, Bel Ombre and Riambel to discover more of our coast’s wonderful nature sites and special attractions such as ‘Le Vortex’ an outdoor spiritual healing center.
