Hi! I am Sofía, I live with Lupe 🐕 in my apartment in Barrio Sur, Montevideo. I work cooking and selling food, and helping my dad with the family business. I also study contemporary dance and am an animal-rights activist.

I study, work and am responsible for a dog, so I'm mostly busy. But I always save time to be with friends and go to cultural events. I'm very active and love to interact with people from other cultures :)

About This Space
A closer look at the stay
About
I have a lovely apartment in Barrio Sur, the neighborhood where candombe was born. I have been living here since January 2026 and put a lot of love in it, I love colorful and fun details. It has lovely skylights so it's very luminous, and a huge terrace where you can lay in the sun, have a snack/beer or watch the candombe-drums pass by. You will be staying in front of a plaza, next to the beautiful Central Cementery and to Isla de Flores, the emblematic candombe-street. Also, La Rambla is just a few blocks away. It is close to all services and good bus stops!
The space
The room I offer has a full/double bed (215x110cm). Two people can sleep close. I also can arrange another bed: the living room "couch" can turn into a single bed. All spaces are shared: living room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry-room and terrace. Your room and my room are private.
The kitchen
The household is completely vegan :) I love to cook, the meals are not included in the stay but we can cook together! I also have my food-business at home, so once-twice a week I work in the kitchen. You are more than welcome to join and taste!
