About this space
We are an environmentally friendly 100% vegan family hotel located in a farmhouse build in 1885 at the edge of the Waddensea area. Recently been voted the most beautiful natural location in the Netherlands and a Unesco World Heritage location. Here guests will find peace and space to enjoy and recover from their daily stress. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacularly beautiful. Ideal for Walking or cycling on our Zeedijk (Sea dyke) in the direction of Lauwersmeer, Harlingen or a daytrip which we provide including bikes to Ameland or Schiermonnikoog (both Waddensea islands). For your summer holiday we are situated near a couple of beautiful beaches and a public swimming pool. Our goal is to give guests a carefree vegan holiday in every respect. We are the only 100% vegan half and full board hotel/B&B of the Netherlands. Prices mentioned are for both rooms including three or four persons. Both rooms can also be rented for two persons at a cheaper rate, please ask for the possibilities.
The space
We have two guestrooms available, one luxurious larger room with TV and one smaller cosy room. Prices mentioned are for both rooms with a maximum of four persons. They can be rented separatly for lower prices, please ask for the possibilities. Both have free glass fibre LAN internet, care products, coffee and tea facilities. Including the use of the private lounge and living room area with board games and books, ideal for longer stays. Both rooms have an unobstructed endless view over the meadows.
Both rooms have direct access to the private bathroom.

A (picnic) lunch including fruit, coffee or tea, orange juice and a cooler bag, € 12,50.
A Full Engish breakfast including a fried egg, bacon, sausages, English marmalade, orange juice, Earl grey tea and toast, € 14,50 per person with a minimum of two persons.
Including a vegan minibar with a wide variety of snacks and alcoholic beverages. The use of the garden and garden equipment is included in the price.
The kitchen
We are the only 100% vegan half and full board B&B/family hotel in The Netherlands. Next to this we offer a mini bar including alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks plus snacks. We are famous concerning our 100% vegan Full English breakfast including a 'fried' egg and bacon. The storage and consumption of non vegan food and drinks is not allowed. We also offer gluten and refined sugar free food and drinks, ask for the possibilities. Our food is so tasty that we even get a high 9.5 rating from non vegans, something we are very proud of.
Other things to note
We have two beatiful happy chickens named Antoinette and Lilly walking outside and Coco and Moon, our extremely loving cats inside. Therefore dogs are not allowed. Free parking is in front of the farm, so you don't have to walk more than two meters. The aria is extremely quiet except nature sounds, birds and other various animal sounds.

No shoes in the house and sorry to say but if you are 'vaccinated' with a covid injection you have to wait at least a month before booking at Vegotel Blije. Most side effects occur within a month. Next to this, the mNRA shot is tested on animals which almost all died during testing.

We are located near almost all the Wadden sea islands, the most beautiful nature location in The Netherlands. We offer a taxi service to the ferry. Ameland beach (50 minutes by ferry) is one of the biggest sand beaches in The Netherlands. A public swimming pool is just 5 minutes by car. So also ideal for your summer holiday. We have two long range E-bikes for rental but can arrange more.
