Peaceful spot near the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway

Greetings and welcome to southern Virginia. This lovely home is in a very quiet spot, with a ‘heavenly view’ of North Carolina below. The 'bedroom' that you'll be staying in is a spacious loft, up 13 stairs. It is very cozy and a lovely space. You’ll be sleeping on a futon bed. The skylight in the loft makes you feel like you're sleeping under the stars. It is a very peaceful spot, with the birds in the morning and the sound of ‘crickets’ at night.

There is a long covered porch with a porch swing to enjoy the beauty and fresh air as well as the sunsets... and a sun room (with lots of windows on three sides) to enjoy the morning sunrise and evening sunset.

The incredibly beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway is only 1/3 mile away. It is easily one of the most scenic roadways in America. People come from all over the world to drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, enjoying the mountain views and rolling hillsides, and the beauty of it all.

The kitchen has a full-size fridge, an electric stove/oven, plenty of counter space, and a butcher block island to do all your food prep. (There's also a microwave, which I never use - but it's here, if you want to use it.)

This is a very quiet, peaceful spot. There are no companion animals here; and you can park in the driveway. Since we’re on a mountain, cell phone reception can be very spotty. My cell can send/receive texts, but I needed to get a landline for phone calls, which you can use for calls made in the U.S. People can also call you here on the landline. I’m available if you have any questions..please don’t hesitate to ask.
