Husband and I became wfpb committed to Dr Esselstyn, Dr Gregor, and Dr Campbell just a few years ago when we learned of this way of eating. We love to travel from USA road trips to extended home exchanges internationally. We are loving off the beaten path adventures and meeting like-minded adventurers.
My Lifestyle
Fully happily retired; we enjoy relaxed day-to-day living with some physical exercise and outdoor time throughout the day. P.S. We are planning lots of trips thru summer and fall, so please give a month or more notice and we'll try to work with you.
Fun Facts About Me
Raised on a dairy farm in South Dakota, married a northern New Mexico Hispanic. I was a labor coach for drug addicted street girls to help them deliver; hubby was a Big Brother for over 20 years, we are child free.
Hobbies & Interests
Wine tasting, dark beer (stout and porters). Kayaking, mountain biking for hubby and hikes for me, Studying nutrition and whole food approach.

About This Space
A closer look at the stay
About
The eastern edge of the city but only 5 minutes to the freeway. Mountain biking and hiking trails just out the backyard, quiet residential neighborhood. Home is passive solar heating.
The space
Our home has a guest bedroom and private guest bathroom across the hall; guests may have access to all areas they need, just ask. Let's talk about food and all lifestyle choices. Our patio/deck is excellent space for outdoor meals, snacks, enjoying sunsets and nature.
The kitchen
French door refrigerator/freezer. Vitamix high-speed food processer plus Immersion blender and Hamilton Beach blender. Keurig coffee maker, crock pot and Ninja Instant cooker, regular pots and pans, dishware, flatware. No use of any processed oils in our kitchen.
Other things to note
No animal pets, great wifi, occasional coyotes howling in the distance, occasional stray cats or deer, raccoon or foxes wander thru the yard. No ductwork in the house as it is electric ceiling panel backup to the solar. Prefer mature guests who give at least 30-days notice since we travel ourselves.
