About this space
Welcome to our farmhouse apartments in the waterrich Southwest Fryslân. Each apartment has its own kitchen, so you can cook your own veggie meals here. The apartments also offer a private bathroom and terrace. You look out over green meadows with sheeps, cows and birds.
The space
We offer different cozy apartments for 2 persons, from 25-50 m2 and there is one large vacationhouse of 125 m2 for 4 persons. Each apartment offers a kingsize bed. We would also like to welcome your dog or cat. We use as much as possible environmental friendly products on our venue.
The kitchen
You have your own kitchen with fridge, oven, induction cooker and dishwasher. Please feel free to prepare your meals just like you want it, at the time you want. In the village Oudega (1 km walking distance) you will find a small supermarket where you can buy your groceries such as fresh bread.
Other things to note
- We offer various apartments, each with different sizes, different fittings and different prices. Please contact me for specific information on availability and rates.
- Smoking and fireworks are not allowed at our venue, and our house rule is that it should be quiet between 11pm and 7am.
- Please note that my friendly family (who also live in a part of the farmhouse) still eats meat and they keep sheep for meat. We use sheepskins as decoration in the rooms.

Since I can remember I love animals. I feel very connected to nature, dogs, cats, sheep, cows, pigs, horses, birds etc. I was raised on a dairy farm and that wasn’t always easy for me. Only some years ago I quit eating meat and since last year I reduced consumption of milk products. Sorry animals it took me so long! My lifestyle is not common in a farming family and here in the country I don't know many people who eat plantbased. That is why I like to meet people similar to me. In the old farmhouse where my grandmother was born more than 100 years ago, we have build comfortable apartments for guests. In the apartments we use as much as possible environmental friendly products, and I will give you advice where you can buy your local veggies. When you stay with us, you can discover the beautifull Frisian lake district by boat or bicycle. Please be aware of the fact that my friendly family still eats meat and there are many mainstream farmers in the surroundings, but also some nice smaller biological farms.
