Maasai Homestay with African food and Swahili culture

Maasai Homestay is a comfortable house located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, about 39 km (25 miles) from Dar es Salaam city center. The drive typically takes 45–60 minutes. It is approximately 38.2 km from Julius Nyerere International Airport and 35.2 km from the ferry, both also about 45–60 minutes away. The homestay offers accommodation with access to a shared lounge, a garden, and a 24-hour front desk for your convenience. All units open onto a balcony with garden views and include a kitchenette with a fridge. Each unit has a private bathroom with a shower, along with slippers, a hairdryer, and free toiletries. A continental breakfast is available each morning, including fruits and juice. Breakfast is complimentary, while additional meals are available for an extra charge. During your stay, you can enjoy organic vegetables, fruits, and typical African natural food. I also organize a variety of tourism activities, including safari game viewing, hiking, cultural tours, biking tours, city tours, walking tours, canoeing, and beach tours. These tours visit attractions both within protected areas and outside of them. I have experience preparing tour packages, as I previously worked as a tour consultant. Bicycle rental, car rental, and transfer services are available at the accommodation. About the neighborhood: Our neighborhood is peaceful, and you will have the opportunity to learn about African culture. Swahili language lessons are also available for interested travelers for an additional fee. I offer a pleasant and enjoyable stay at my parents’ home and aim to create an unforgettable experience. The space

Maasai Homestay features accommodation with a shared lounge, a garden and a 24-hour front desk for your convenience and I'm always available for my guests. Opening to a balcony with garden views, and fitted with a kitchenette with a fridge. There is a private bathroom with shower, along with slippers, a hairdryer and free toiletries. Guests feel free at home and you can access kitchen rooms, sitting room to come and watch TV in the main house as at this beginning point there is one TV, they can also access garden.

The kitchen

The units are fitted with a kitchenette with a fridge and the guests can use their kitchen in their apartment but also they can use kitchen in the main house and feel at home away from home.

Other things to note

In the property there are dogs and they come outside at night for security so when you want to go out better to inform me so that I can open gate for you and sometimes neighborhood can be a little bit noisy as we live with Swahili community who like to play local music especial when they have occasions like wedding . There is WiFi service on-site though sometimes network is not good but very rarely. Free private parking available on-site Non-smoking rooms and Family rooms and if you want to smoke you go outside of the house.
