Hello, I am a vegan host currently running my boutique barn holiday let in South Devon, which I am excited to also open later in the year as a vegan B&B couple's retreat. I am all about lashings of nutricious organic vegetables, fruit, herbs & spices and making them taste amazing! An interior junkie at heart, I also specialise in creating unique boutique spaces, with an emphasis on sustainability and particularly upcylced materials :) I love welcoming guests into my home, wining and dining on nourishing vegan goodness and introducing some of our best natural spots along our rugged coastline and pretty countryside over a picnic banquet :) Hosting is a wonderful way to meet other plant based fans and share knowledge and stories and I have learned that we vegans all seemed to be rather food obsessed! :)
My Lifestyle
I am Devon born and bred but have spent a big chunk of my life working around the world on the ocean and also the rivers of Europe. I am a former professional dancer and now enjoy to keep up my fitness with yoga and ballet style exercises. Living in the South Hams means that I have a plethora of gorgeous beaches to enjoy swimming, walking and sipping wine while watching the sunset! My decision to return to my roots here in Devon was the best I could have made and I fall in love with my beautiful county more and more each day :)

My greatest hobby is now figure skating! I used to play Anni-Frid ~(Frida) in an Abba tribute band! I love upcycling old furniture I'm obsessed with mushrooms and their benefits I'm a wine enthusiast I get rather excited over a good barista oat flat white! I have a habit of making friends with dogs and cats :)

Getting around the area
Goveton is a peaceful little village just two miles outside of the charming town of Kingsbridge. Some lovely walks start from right outside your front door and the many stunning coastal walks and beaches of the South Hams are all just a short drive away as well as the estuarios for padre boarding. It is also a good central location from which to explore the curious market town of Totnes, the lovely harbour town of Dartmouth and the beautiful estuary town of Salcombe.

Primrose Cottage is a delightful little boutique barn conversion nestled within the immaculately groomed grounds of an historic farmyard in the idyllic little village of Goveton.
The space
This little gem has all the charming features one would expect from a barn conversion from exposed wooden beams to quirky character windows. Primrose Cottage is a joy during all seasons with it’s cosy little back garden full of bird song in the spring and summer and it’s elegantly decorated lounge, the perfect place to cosy up on a winter’s eve by the fire. The double bedroom features a sloping barn ceiling with exponed bermas and fairy lights.
