Little Pension at the edge of the Spessart, vegan cooking school

We operate a small family-run vegan bed and breakfast, located in a residential subdivision, right at the edge of a forest. We cultivate our own herbal garden, where we grow over 100 wild, healing and cooking herbs. For those interested in herbals, we happily offer small guided tours through the garden, as well in the adjoining forest and to a nearby meadow full of herbs. We offer a well rounded vegan breakfast. If desired, you may arrange for a vegan lunch and/or dinner for the cost of 20 Euro a person. Since we also run a vegan cooking school here at the bed and breakfast, you could also participate in an evening cooking class, learning to prepare vegan food, as part of your stay with us (www.kochkurs-hanau.de). Our location lends itself to a day trip to the city of Frankfurt, 30 km away. For those arriving by train, we offer a shuttle service upon request. Right out our front door, there are many hiking opportunities as well as bike touring destinations in the direction of the Spessart region. For this purpose, we have 2 bicycles available for rent. During colder times of year, there is also a sauna available for use here on the premises. For overnight accommodation, we offer two possibilities. On the lower level, there is a room with double bed and private bathroom with shower. On the upper level, the room has a pullout double bed. This smaller room has its own sink and bathtub, but shared toilet facilities in the hallway.
