I'm a 30 year old avid athlete, artist, musician, and animal lover. You can normally find me running (training for a 100 miler), painting, playing piano, or playing pool. Also fond of yoga and swimming. I like to stay active and I like to be around other happy people. A simple life is a good life!

Getting around the area
Great for running/biking. There's an LA fitness 1 mile away with a pool. A large Kroger's right next to that, that has vegan options. Close to bike paths, and a 45 minute ride to downtown. Favorite places: Redtree coffee down the street has vegan baked goods and WIFI. There are a few places to shoot pool and have a beer. Different types of bars for different vibes, for sure. About This Space
A closer look at the stay
About
Peaceful quiet space to get away from the daily demands life hands us. One mile from a coffee shop that has amazing vegan muffins and brownies. Great neighborhood for running/biking as well. I have two cats that are great at cuddling, too. I'm normally gone on the weekends, so you'd have the whole place to yourself. If not, you'd get the bedroom and I'd get the futon in the living room.
The space
A decent sized 1 bedroom apartment with a beautiful view of trees, looking out on a golf course. This would most likely be a "couch to crash on" situation for you. I only have a crock pot and a fridge. Feel free to have some rice and beans though. I have two cats that are awesome. There is parking in the back if street parking is unavailable. I do not have AC but I do have fans. I'm never uncomfortable warm, even on a hot day, since the apartment is well shaded. No TV/Computer/WIFI but there are coffeeshops and bars near by if you need to get your screen time. I have a piano and a guitar that you can play, if you get bored. There is a washer/dryer in the basement that is coin operated. I have unscented detergent you are free to use, and a drying rack. Guest access: I have a spare bike you can use to get around town.
The kitchen
My kitchen is from 1940. Fridge. Can opener. Not much else, ha! Basin sink, enough counter space for quick prep, and a crock pot that I use for rice/beans.
Other things to note
This is a great place for "outdoorsy" types that don't need a TV and AC for a good time.

No drinks on the piano. Don't let the cats out. Leave fans on at all times--just use the chain to turn the lights on/off. If you ride the extra bike, use a helmet, and lock it up when unattended. Make yourself at home--by also treating my things with the same respect you use for yours.
