Lake View House - Bugala Island

The space

The house is a standalone in an open compound surrounded by green nature - the area is very safe. There are some lovely neighbours living behind.

Outside you have access to all areas including the garden to the left of the house where we are growing various vegetables, herbs and some fruits also.

Enjoy the hammock while you're around, just make sure to bring it in through the window on a night or when you go out in case of rain!

Inside there is a living room with space for yoga / exercise, kitchen with cupboards, fridge/freezer & blender for making smoothies and the master bedroom with ensuite washroom including a flushing toilet - you have exclusive access to all of these spaces.

We don't yet have running hot water, you can boil water on the gas or sigiri (charcoal stove) if you want to bathe with hot water.

There is no running water in the kitchen however there's water in the jerrycans ready for using.

The kitchen

We have a good sized kitchen with plenty of worktop space. There is a fridge freezer, gas & sigiri (charcoal stove) for cooking, a high-powered blender is also available on request. We kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing any dairy/eggs into the house, we do occasionally have good quality honey available - this is the only non-vegan thing we sometimes consume.

Other things to note

We don't personally have any animals ourselves at home yet there are some dogs around locally who come to say hello and our neighbour has chickens. We have parking big enough for 2 cars outside the house. Wifi can be arranged for a small fee.
