I enjoy adventures with my husband and cat; together, we have travelled the globe! My career has revolved around education, encompassing both art and behavioural science–two of my favourite things.
My Lifestyle
We left Perth, Australia, in search of a simpler life, with an abundance of nutritious, healthy food, clean air and beautiful scenery. A year later, we settled in South West France. Here, we are just beginning our new venture of providing gorgeous accommodation, and soon to follow, vegan and vegetarian gastronomical retreats. Hubby is into health and fitness, a former runner and personal trainer.
Fun Facts About Me
I haven't eaten meat for 36 years. My husband and I started following a vegan diet (mostly whole-food, plant-based) in January 2018. My recent ancestors were nomads. I have British and Australian citizenship, but now live in South West France.

Quercy Blanc Region Unlike many rural French villages that close outside the busy summer months, our area benefits from being a year-round destination with amenities throughout all seasons. This makes it ideal to visit anytime–a hidden gem, offering peaceful charm and without overbearing crowds. The Quercy Blanc region, including Montaigu-de-Quercy, is often considered to have a slightly drier and sunnier climate, benefiting from a reputed micro-climate that provides more sunshine and less rain and humidity compared to surrounding areas, including much of the Dordogne. This difference means the Quercy Blanc region can feel more pleasant, especially during the colder seasons, making it a particularly attractive place to explore and relax year-round.
