Fun Facts About Me

Middle-aged Danish males aren't fun. Especially not at the surface.

Hobbies & Interests

I plant native stuff with my fiancé, to see how it goes. And I like cooking, music and that great film. Work and interests blend, really. Deep diving into sustainability, accessibility and inspiring people.

Neighborhood

Getting around the area

The home is located right next to a public park. So if you've got children with you, there is a place to play — like, RIGHT there. If you don't, it's still a nice stroll down to the grocery store (which is adequate, but not especially interesting for vegetarians, to be honest). What can I say. Boring suburbs? The best thing about the neighbourhood, is that it's in waking distance to the forest, the city centre and the beach. And it's reasonably peaceful.

About This Space

A closer look at the stay

About

Cosy house for a couple or family with one or two kids.

The space

The current pictures are years old, so if you like what you see, you will not be disappointed. The home is located in a reasonable quiet area, 15 minutes walking distance from down town centre, 10 minutes from the forest, 20 minutes from the beach. 5 minutes to the nearest 8-21 grocery store. Nice. What have we got? Well, the occasional cat, (which will expect non-vegan food, in stock). A well-equipped kitchen. A nice large bedroom with a double elevation bed. To smaller bedrooms with beds, office chairs, and tables—should you need to do some work. A living room with plenty of space for 4 persons, 6 if you push it. An "atrium" where you can smoke if that's your thing. And the garden; with lots of native plants, and weeds, albeit a bit boring at the time of writing (December). Oh, and artwork on the walls. And a projector with a Chromecast (bring your own streaming service). Wifi. Coffee! Organic. In short, a home where you can rest and relax and not worry too much about the “expensive furniture” (because it isn't).

The kitchen

Most of what you need for homemade food, I suppose? Fridge, freezer, oven, micro-oven. You can use everything, but shouldn't expect everything. If in doubt, ask. I've got legumes, grains, breakfast, tea, coffee, many spices, oils, all organic, in stock. There is a coffee machine, kettle, blender, and more available. Got no milk or cheese, but you might find leftover honey in the cupboards. Mornings are the best, in the kitchen. It faces east. Sunshine and coffee. Mmm.

Other things to note

Mr. Guybrush, the ginger cat, visits us from time to time. He is gentle and trusting, especially if he gets fed. Most people love him, and you should too. If you are allergic to cats, this is probably not the place for you. It's a two-story house. Stairs go up to the 1st floor, where the bathroom and the bedroom are. Not suitable for wheelchairs, at all. The neighbours are close. They are nice, but you might hear them. Not a problem, but now you know. This place is someone's home. I'm sure you'll respect that.
