Imagine stepping into a place filled with light! Light coming through the many windows, light reflecting on the copper trimming and decorations, light coming from the marble sculptures, light coming from the many paintings. Imagine being wrapped in the quite of the Umbrian countryside. Imagine being surrounded by an harmonious environment created by the hands of an artist that has custom made every piece of furniture, every lampshade, every stained glass window and has decorated and painted every inch of the house and garden. Imagine sleeping in a loft hanging over the living room and feeling cozy and protected! This is a special place where you will feel "special" and in harmony with nature! Your hosts vegan for almost half a century will gladly share their knowledge of alternative healthy living if you wish to.
The space
The house is about 180square feet with high ceiling and loft bed and bathroom. The garden is about 150square feet with covered hot tub. The property is located in a small quaint village at the border between Tuscany and Umbria. 3 miles away from Lake Trasimeno and Castiglione del Lago in Umbria and 2 miles away from Lake Montepulciano in Tuscany.
The surrounding area is agricultural with view of Lake Trasimeno and the Tuscan Umbrian Appennine in the distance. Cortona is located just in front. The property has 2 bycicles for guests. Coffee shop just 1 mile away, supermarkets 3 miles away. We offer to pick up guests at the train station of Castiglione del Lago 3 miles away. We can provide vegan food if needed. The house, even though attached to the main building is totally private and separate.

The hosts Glenn and Stefania Ball have been vegan for almost 50 years. Had one of the first vegan restaurant in USA. The Oasis Bakery and restaurant in Brattleboro, Vt. that opened in 1975. Had several catering businesses and taught vegan cooking classes. Founded in 2000 "Raw Italy" a travel co. for raw vegans. Stefania has been a tour director since 1999. Welcoming tourists to Italy is her second nature. Glenn is a sculpture and painter and musician who also holds art classes on lake Trasimeno and Rome.
