Neighborhood
Getting around the area
Soho is a safe neighborhood and you'll be in walking distance to major sites, such as the Whitney museum and the Highline in the former meatpacking district. After your walk on the Highline you will end up in Chelsea, that offer a multitude of galleries. Want some air, just walk west and you can catch the breeze by the Hudson River. A nice stroll will take you downtown to either Chinatown, Tribeca, the Brooklyn Bridge and Ground Zero memorial. Greenwich Village is up the block and the East Village as well as the Lower East Side is accessible by foot. Getting around: There's the C and the E train right around the corner and they connect you to a major hub one station away where you will find the A,B,D, F and M train. The number 1 train is 3 blocks away, great if you need to get to the upper west side. Also, if you cross Soho by foot on Prince street you will find the N and R, or if you cross via Spring, there's the 6 train.

About This Space
A closer look at the stay
About
This is Soho. Close to Tribeca, Greenwich Village , East Village and all major subway lines. It's an older building with charming exposed brick walls in the kitchen. A so called "Railroad flat" with a walk-up (4 flights of stairs).
The space
The room is private and your bed has a super comfortable organic Keetsa mattress. There's a heater that I have turned off most of the time, as it gets too hot but, I'll be happy to turn it on for you. There's a door leading to the bathroom, the only one in the apartment. Shower is in the kitchen. Guest access: There's Wifi
The kitchen
The kitchen is my favorite place. I like to bake, make kale chips and steam vegetables. I'll be happy to share whatever is in the making. There's always filtered water, coffee and tea in the house and you are welcome to store food in the fridge.
Other things to note
Sometimes I board a dog. It's possible to find parking in the neighborhood, some times are easier than others and you'd have to move your car during street cleaning. It's normally pretty quiet in the blue room. There may be some construction going on close by during the day.
