We are a small, veganic forest farm in the Kent Downs National Landscape (formerly called AONB).We are off-grid and live close to the rest of nature. You will enjoy staying with us if you are seeking an escape from the hectic pace of urban living and if you wish to reconnect within nature. Our space is a cosy, warm hand-built wooden showperson's wagon. She is built from scratch from locally coppiced chestnut and other reclaimed materials. She is insulated with hemp. She is called Wilma and, once inside, you can feel her breathing with you :)
The space
Wilma has two main rooms; a kitchen/dining and lounge space and a large bedroom.
She has 4 large bunk beds, two of which can be made into a large double if more than one person is staying.
She has her own separate shower and compost toilet block (for your use only).
She has a wood burner, hot water, electricity (powered by our solar panels) and all water is harvested from the rain.
You have your own outdoor seating and cooking space with a fire pit, tables and chairs.
You are welcome to pick herbs and other veg when available from the farm - we can show you where when you arrive.
The kitchen
The kitchen includes a fridge and small freezer, hob and hot water. There are two large wooden counters for food prep.
We provide vegan staples such as porridge, our own heritage flour, spreads, teas and plant milks.
We are 100% veganic, so, allow no non-vegan food onto the farm.
Other things to note
Children and dogs who are friendly with cats and children are welcome.
We have parking on site.
We have no WiFi on site.
We charge an additional 10% per additional person per stay to cover extra cleaning/bedding change etc.
So one person, two nights (minimum stay) = £140 (including cleaning fee).
Two people, two nights = £140 + £14 = £154.
Three people, two nights = £140 + £42 = £182
Three people, three nights = £210 + £63 = £273 etc...
We also offer discounts for weekly and monthly stays.
We offer an additional 5% discount on total price (on top of any other discounts) if you arrive independently by foot, pedal or public transport.

FAVERSHAM, Kent, UK . Joined in December 2021
Jo and Rosa are mother and daughter and run a small, veganic, forest (agroforestry/syntopic) farm in East Kent - @treeoflifeveganics. We've been doing this since 2018. Jo has been vegan since 2003. Rosa has been vegan all her life (since 2011!). We went vegan for the animals but are very happy about all the other benefits too - environmental, food security, health and spiritual. We have had beautiful former street companion animals living with us and we feed them vegan too. We have recently adopted a street cat, Vincent. We live off-grid and are very keen on low impact building and appropriate tech. We have also set up and run other eco, vegan projects locally, including the Abbot's Mill Project in Canterbury (www.abbotsmillproject.co.uk) and Kent Vegan Events (www.facebook.com/KentVeganEvents) We are non-drinkers and non-smokers and try to live as compassionately, cleanly and ethically as possible. We look forward to welcoming you to our farm :)
Jo's property is located in Faversham, Kent, GB
