Hi! I’m Lois and I live in sunny Cyprus with Rosa and Gina, 4-year-old calico sisters 😸😸 I left the UK over a decade ago (can’t stand the cold!) but much of my family is still there so I try to visit as often as I can. I love to travel - I’ve lived in Australia and Germany and spent several months in other places like Thailand, Indonesia, South Africa, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Egypt, Mauritius, etc. I’m happiest either underwater, or on the beach with a cold beer and a good book. You’ll find plenty to read at my apartment, and at least one cat will “help” you 😂 Vegan since 2021 (Seaspiracy was the nail in the proverbial coffin) and some form of vegetarian for most of my life. I’ve always loved animals but it took a little while to put 2+2 together!
My Lifestyle
I work remotely, so Monday to Friday I tend to be chained to the laptop, and weekends are for beaching.

Getting around the area
All the best cafes, bars, and restaurants are literally on your doorstep. You can walk to Finikoudes Beach and promenade in 1-2 minutes. The best vegan food is found in the Armenian and Lebanese spots nearby (Watar rooftop is incredible, Za’atar bakery does amazing vegan lamajoun and falafel saj, Arax is literally outside your front door and does an authentic foul and vegetable mashrouha for a fiver). Lisa’s Flammhaus is just opposite and the hummus pizza is delicious and they have loads of vegan chocolatey raw dessert things. There are no vegan restaurants in Larnaca but you can find some really delicious dishes if you explore! Lots of the local food is “fasting” (mostly vegan), lots of lentils and beans and olive pastries. Great, I’ve literally made myself hungry 😂

A closer look at the stay
About
You’re right in the centre of Old Town Larnaca, 150 metres from the beach, with the Saturday fruit and veg market on your doorstep. It’s quiet (great sleeping) but with the city’s best neighbourhood, shops, restaurants, bars, and beaches just outside. The apartment itself is super spacious with high ceilings and AC in every room, plus radiators in the living room for “cold” days (it doesn’t get that cold in Cyprus!)
The space
You’ll have use of the entire apartment except for my bedroom. I’ll be abroad so you’ll have the place to yourself! Open plan living room and dining area, kitchen, balcony, main bathroom, guest toilet, and large bedroom with couch and working desk.
The kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped and I love to cook so you’ll find everything you need!
Other things to note
This is Rosa and Gina’s home, so you’ll be staying with them. They’re pretty chill cats, and once they decide they love you they will follow you from room to room. They love attention and can be very cuddly. Gina has a bit of orange cat attitude and is very talkative, while Rosa is the sweet baby. For sisters, they’re polar opposites! They have an automated feeder and water fountain. Wet food morning and evening. No medication or anything complicated. They’re very easygoing and you’ll adore them quite quickly 🥰 Despite being as central as you can get, there is literally zero noise in the apartment. It’s amazing for sleeping and focusing for work. Parking can be a pain, again due to the central location, but worst case scenario you park 1 minute walk away on a nearby street (free - this is what I do). Or pay €3 for 24 hours in the car park across the road.
