The back veranda with its own fan and TV is a relaxing second living space. There’s a lake fifty metres away for paddleboarders, and beaches are a short bus ride away. Saturday farmers markets, the Palm Beach Aquatic Centre and the RSL are a fifteen minute walk. Shops, library, doctors and dentist are across the road. There’s parking for your bike or car within the complex and it’s about two minutes to the motorway exit.The kitchen is vegetarian, food waste goes into the worm farm, and shared areas are kept clean to a high standard with a weekly roster. If that sounds like your kind of household, read on.The fridge has filtered water and ice, there’s plenty of pantry space, and internet and water are included. The solar panels keep electricity costs reasonable and bills are split between residents.The carpeted rooms have bedside drawers, lamps, bookshelf, basket, hangers, wardrobe with under-bed storage box. The purple room has a queen bed and sliding mirror wardrobe doors. The other room has a king single bed and desk. The friendlyowner lives in the third bedroom and will share the facilities.Everything you need for an enjoyable time is within walking or public transport proximity. You only need to enjoy it!
The space
Guests can access two toilets – one upstairs and one downstairs –, a shared bathroom with shower over bath and vanity basin, a living room with TV in an open plan area that includes a dining area and kitchen, and the rear courtyard with an undercover seating area and second television. Also guests access the laundry with wash trough and washing machine.
The large double door refrigerator has plenty of shelf space in both fridge and freezer, and has a built-in water filter and ice dispenser. Guests have their own pantry for food storage.
The owner lives in the house and will be occupying the third bedroom and sharing the facilities.
The kitchen
Guests have their own pantry with five shelves to store food and personal kitchen items.
Kitchen contains oven stove, microwave, dishwasher, electric frypan, Kettle, toaster, neutral bullet blender and Nespresso hot machine. There’s all the usual pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, cups and glassware present in a normal kitchen. I request for guests to keep the kitchen absolutely clean and ensure that everything is cleaned up and put away after each meal.
Other things to note
There is a resident Cat currently living on the property and she’s super friendly so likes to visit people and sit close by, sometimes head pooping for pats and cuddles if she really likes somebody. She an indoor cat who can access the courtyard because she can’t jump the fence and leave. There is a can of cat food for her in the refrigerator and this can’t be avoided.
There’s parking in guest spots close to the flat and also outside the front gate of the complex. Happy to share the driveway car parking if I have a car here at the time.
